Universal Health Hub is private healthcare organization started by Nurse Maya who when battling cancer was inspired to bring private but affordable Geriatric services to seniors wherever they age. Company's mission is to improve lives of seniors in the community by bringing technology innovation to augment the shortage in healthcare workers.

“During the peak of the pandemic, I received the devasting news that I had cancer. This turned our world upside down, affecting not only me but also my 8-year-old daughter. Amidst my cancer treatment, I discovered the immense importance of family support. This realization led me to a decision: I would dedicate myself to helping other families facing adversity” she stated. “Universal Heath Hub” as a company was born.

Triumph through Trials

In the midst of her treatment, Maya achieved remarkable feats and completed her Nursing program as an Honor Roll student. Maya was recognized with the Women Impact Award at the Ontario Heroes National Volunteer Awards 2022 & Inspirational Leader 2022 at the CSPN Annual Women in Leadership Summit 2022

Empowering Excellence

The company was recognized by OSSCO in business excellence of dedicated age-diverse workforce where 95% of the staff is women. Maya recognized with the COVID-19 Commemoration Award 2023 by the Frontline Community Centre. Maya is now an Educator and Author in Diabetic and Advanced Foot Care in Seniors.

The company is certified as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE). The company approved for the Canada Digital Adoption Program by the Federal Government.

Empowering Seniors

The company services over 1,000 seniors every month in foot care, personal care and other geriatric care services. The company services over 10 Hospitals in Toronto and GTA and several LTC Homes and Retirement Homes in Toronto and GTA. Over 100 Nurses and 500 Personal Support Workers trained annually.
