a cherished member of our community whom we were honoured to support during her final months.
A Life Well Lived
Anna’s life was defined by resilience, kindness, and a genuine care for others. Originally from the United Kingdom, she made Canada her home and dedicated more than three decades of service at Sunnybrook Hospital, where she supported medical professionals and built lasting friendships rooted in respect and warmth.
Outside of her professional life, Anna found joy in the simple pleasures—especially the companionship of her beloved pets. Her fond memories of quiet afternoons spent with Cricket, Camille, and Beaner reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for life’s meaningful moments.
Care When It Mattered Most
Following a stroke, Anna’s family entrusted Universal Health Hub with her personal care during a deeply emotional and challenging time. Our certified Personal Support Workers (PSWs) provided attentive, respectful, and compassionate in-home care—supporting Anna with her daily needs while also offering companionship, reassurance, and comfort.
Our team worked closely with her family, ensuring care was delivered with sensitivity, consistency, and dignity. We are deeply grateful for the trust placed in us and for the kind words shared by Anna’s loved ones, who expressed appreciation for the comfort and peace our care brought during this period.
